Isabelle Atkinson

Soprano Isabelle Atkinson Sister Claire is a Royal College of Music and Royal Academy of Music scholar, earning a Distinction in her Master’s and a DipRAM for her outstanding final recital. Isabelle is currently on tour with English Touring Opera singing Belinda in the production of Dido and Aeneas. Other ETO highlights include covering and performing Adina (The Elixir of Love), singing Fiametta (The Gondoliers), and co-creating the role of Alex in Little Terror, a Learning & Participation production for Learning Disabled audiences.

In the previous summer season, she performed Ida in Die Fledermaus for The Grange Festival with whom she’s previously covered Anne Truelove (The Rake’s Progress) and Despina (Così fan tutte). She has also worked with opera companies such as Grange Park Opera, Winterbourne Opera, and Hurn Court Opera – debuting as Musetta in La bohème. Isabelle’s concert repertoire spans from Bach to Orff, with performances at venues including both the Wigmore and Cadogan Halls. Beyond music, Isabelle is a passionate dancer and knitter.
